The theme of the October meeting of the Alaska Breastfeeding Coalition's Professional Support Circle is Nervous System Health and Processing Trauma with Leah Piera Murphy.
We will meet October 5, 2022, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. via Zoom. Leah Piera Murphy of Sitka's Spinning Moon Apothecary will speak about the vagus nerve and nervous system regulation.
Leah Piera-Murphy from Spinning Moon Apothecary will be presenting on Poly-Vagal Theory specifically as it relates to communicating with clients and colleagues.
Leah is owner and operator of Spinning Moon Apothecary in Sitka, AK. She is trained in Poly-Vagal Theory, Ayurvedic Healing, Herbal Medicine and is a Yoga Health Coach and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Leah lives in Sitka with her 2 children and 2 cats and is inspired by the incredible wilderness that surrounds her.
